Description

TVT is a malignant tumor that can spread between dogs through direct skin-to-skin contact, such as during mating, licking, biting, or sniffing. TVTs are more common in tropical and subtropical areas, and in sexually intact, free-roaming, or mixed-breed dogs. They can appear on the external genitalia of both male and female dogs, and are typically gray or pinkish-gray in color.

It’s highly contagious . TVT can be treated with chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or surgery. Early detection and treatment can lead to a cure in almost 95% of cases.
